2018 Volkswagen Atlas Preview

The past year has seen a big change in Volkswagen’s game plan, and that has never been as obvious as it is with the all-new 2018 Volkswagen Atlas. This all-new model is a three-row SUV that has enough seating for up to seven. Based on the VW CrossBlue concept that debuted in 2013, Volkswagen’s newest SUV is sure to impress the large-vehicle-loving American market.

There are a number of practical features in the Atlas that are sure to impress. Access to the third-row is easy, since the second-row seats tilt and slide forward. This means that you can leave an empty child’s seat in place, while other passengers get into the third row. Both the second- and third-row also fold down flat, opening up 96.9 cubic feet of cargo space, which will help haul cargo with ease.

If this practicality isn’t enough to impress, then the vast array of features is sure to get the job done. An available 8-inch infotainment screen will help you stay connected, while selectable driving modes will make it easier to get better performance and fuel efficiency from your engine.

Consumers will even have two engine options to choose from—a 238-horsepower four-cylinder and a 280-horsepower 3.6-liter V6. The German carmaker’s popular 4Motion all-wheel-drive system will also be an option, but only with the V6 engine.

The all-new 2018 Volkswagen Atlas is set to hit dealership showrooms in the spring of 2017, so make sure you come on out to Gossett VW Porsche to find out more about this great SUV.
